Oat Sausage

Makes about 8 – 3” patties

 

2 c. Warm Water

¼ c. Bragg’s Liquid Aminos

(or could use low sodium soy sauce)

1 T. Oil

½ T. Onion Powder

1 T. Honey

1 t. Sage  

2 T. Nutritional Yeast Flakes

¼ t. Garlic Powder

¼ t. Italian Seasoning

2 c. Rolled Oats

 

Combine first nine ingredients and bring to a boil.  Add oats and cook 5 minutes.  Form small patties and bake on sprayed cookie sheet at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes each side.  (I scoop out piles onto the cookie sheet and then pat them flat and round – like patties – with a rubber spatula.)
