Gob Cake

1 chocolate cake mix

1 small chocolate instant pudding

¼ cup oil

2½ cups milk

4 eggs

2 Tbsp flour

1 cup sugar

½ cup shortening

1 stick oleo

Powdered sugar

 

Directions:

Combine cake mix, pudding mix, oil, eggs, and 1 ½ cups of milk. Mix well. Pour batter into two 10x15x1 pans lined with parchment paper. Bake at 325 for 15-20 minutes. Combine flour and 1 cup of milk. Cook until mixture thickens then let cool. Cream sugar, shortening, and oleo together. Combine creamed mixture with cooled flour mixture. Spread filling mixture onto one of the cooled baked cakes. Gently place other cake on top. Can sprinkle powdered sugar on top or cut into rectangles and wrap in saran wrap for individual servings.
