Zagnut Cookies

1 cup extra crunchy peanut butter

1 cup powdered sugar

1 cup rice krispies

1 Tablespoon butter

 

Directions:

Mix and form a ball.  Cut into 4 or 5 pieces and roll each piece “hot dog” style.  Cut the “hot dog” into smaller pieces.  If your dough pieces are too soft to go on – freeze or chill them a little.

 

Coconut – brown in a skillet or use macaroon coconut (you can purchase in Smicksburg or a local grocery store).

 

Make a powdered sugar glaze (powdered sugar and water).  Paint or roll them with the glaze and then roll them in the coconut.  You may want to roll them twice for a better coating.
