Double Chocolate Tassies

Beat together:
3/4 cup butter-softened
1 pkg cream cheese (3 oz, softened)

Add:
1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar

Refrigerator 1 hour


Shape into balls (about walnut size) and press into tassie pans

Filling:
1 egg                                

2 Tablespoon melted butter

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 teaspoon lemon juice

1/4 teaspoon vanilla

1 1/2 cups chocolate chips                                               (about half milk chocolate chips and half peanut butter chips.)

 

Stir the egg, sugar, vanilla, butter and lemon juice until smooth and then stir in the chips.   Evenly fill the tassie cups.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.  Cool completely.

Combine 1/3 mixed chips and 1-2 teaspoons crisco (not butter, oil or margarine.) Put in a decorator bag and microwave about 30 seconds or until melted.  Snip the end and drizzle over the tassies.
