One-Pot Meaty Spaghetti

1 lb. ground beef

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tsp sugar

1 tsp dried basil

½ tsp dried oregano

¼ tsp of salt, pepper, paprika

1 28oz can diced tomatoes, undrained

1 15oz can tomato sauce

2 cups water

¼ cup chopped fresh parsley

8 oz uncooked spaghetti, broken in half

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

 

Directions:

In a stockpot, cook and crumble the beef with garlic over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, drain.  Add the sugar, seasonings, tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, and ¼ cup parsley; bring to a boil.  Reduce heat; simmer, covered, 5 minutes.


Add spaghetti; return to a boil.  Reduce heat to medium-low; cook 8-10 minutes.  Stir in cheese.  Sprinkle with parsley.
