Butterscotch Pie

1-1/4 cups Brown Sugar
4 Tbs Butter
2 Eggs
2 cups Milk
6 Tbs Flour
1/4 tsp Vanilla

Melt sugar & butter in top of double boiler. Stir flour to smooth paste with a little milk. Add remaining milk to sugar & butter mixture. Cook for 20 min. or until thick. Beat egg yolks & pour into hot mixture. Cook a little longer until thick. Pour into pie shell.

Meringue: Add 4 Tbs brown sugar to egg whites. Bake in oven until meringue is brown. 350 or 375 degrees.
