Green Tomato Relish

12 green tomatoes

6 green peppers

6 red peppers


Grind together and add 1/2 cup of salt.  Let stand overnight (or several hours)


Drain and rinse well the next day.


In a large pan add:

4 cups sugar

3 cups vinegar

1 Tablespoon mustard seed

2 Tablespoons celery seed

Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes.


Ladle into jars and seal hot.   Yield 6 pts
