Apricot Salad

1 8oz cream cheese softened

1 large can crushed pineapple with juice

2/3 cup sugar

2/3 cup water

1 large or 2 small packages apricot jello

1 medium cool whip

 

Bring pineapple with juice, sugar, water, and jello to a boil.  Let cool a minute, then add cream cheese.  Mix in well and let mixture stand until cool.  When cool, fold in cool whip.  This can be molded or put in a rectangle pan.
