Black Velvet Hot Fudge Sauce

2 cups powdered sugar

1 cup evaporated milk

½ cup butter

1 Tbsp light corn syrup

¼ cocoa powder

1 tsp vanilla

1 cup semi sweet/dark chocolate chips

 

Directions:

In a saucepan combine sugar, milk, butter, syrup, cocoa, and chips. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture boils. Reduce heat to low and continue to cook for 8 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Serve warm over ice cream or use as dip for fruit. Keeps well if covered and refrigerated and can be reheated in the microwave.
