Ripe Tomato Relish

Grind together:

12 green tomatoes

6 green peppers

6 red peppers

12 small onions

½ cup salt

 

Let stand overnight.

Drain and rinse well (next day).

 

Add:

4 cups sugar

2 Tbsp celery seed

1 Tbsp mustard seed

3 cups vinegar

 

Bring to a boil.  Boil 5 minutes.  Seal hot in jars.
