Best Pickled Eggs / Beets

¼ tsp salt

1 ¼ cups sugar

1 cup vinegar

1 pound can of  beets sliced or quartered

12-14 hard boiled eggs

Stir all ingredients together in a saucepan.  Bring to a boil.  Pour over peeled hard boiled eggs.  Refrigerate.  I use this same recipe for making pickled beets.
